Our Story.

Rik and Fiona Flowerday have been in the house and land building industry for a long time and have built a strong reputation in the Bay of Plenty. They are members of Certified Builders NZ, and Master Builders (Rik is the past president of the Tauranga branch).

Flowerday Homes started in 2014 when the company was initially ZB Homes BOP and was in partnership with Zane Beckett. In 2020, Rik and Fiona bought the building company out and are now in the process of transitioning the brand to Flowerday Homes. This is why you may still see the ZB Homes branding on some material.

Flowerday Homes is a privately owned business, not a franchise. Aside from residential builds, they have also successfully delivered multiple light commercial and townhouse projects, winning a Silver Award in the Multi-Unit category of the Master Builders House of the Year Awards (2020).

Day to day operations are managed by General Manager Daren Green, a widely known and respected figure in the Tauranga construction industry. Daren works closely alongside Rik and Fiona and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
